Welcome on the website of Dineke Derksen - Dutch painter, born in Rotterdam in 1953, living in the South of France.
She followed several art-courses in The Netherlands and France. Her artwork consists of several type of paintings, most in an expressive way.
She has themes like the fossile reality, deformed human beings, the theme ‘human manipulation’ in which the social now to day problems (by all type of manipulation). Expression of emotion is of great importance in most of her works. She is now working on the serie 'Rencontre' in which all kind of personal meetings are painted in an abstract way. Mixtes techniques (e.a. acrylic, Chinese ink, oil pastels)
